She has opened home care agencies, successfully helped providers avoid Department of Health and accreditation sanctions, and presented seminars and trainings in Homecare, Assisted Living, and Quality Measures. Global Healthcare Associates' Nurse Practitioner Associate, Madeline Cafiero M.S., R.N., F.N.P., C.W.O.N is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience. In addition, she is a family Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse. As a hands-on provider as well as a clinician, she has treated patients with urinary and fecal incontinence and their related sequelae, ostomy issues and acute and chronic wounds. She is a consultant for providers in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and home care.
Ms. Cafiero is a graduate of the Sage Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner program in 1996 and Emory University’s Wound, Ostomy Continence Nursing program in 2004. She has lectured locally and nationally on the noninvasive treatment of urinary incontinence and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals over the past ten years. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Nursing Education at Columbia Teacher’s Doctoral Program, New York, N.Y.
Global Healthcare Associates' Administrative Assistant, Sara McGhee graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2000 with a degree in Organizational Communications. She spent four years working in publishing before segueing into human services. She is available for all administrative issues, concerns, or questions.
